Stayed in a posh cottage surrounded by a private park. Had a lovely terrace and garden, enjoyed tennis and free WiFi. Nearby hiking and skiing were a blast.
Oh, how I hated having access to a beautiful estate and all those luxurious amenities. Terrible.

The value for money at this cottage was exceptional and the room itself was absolutely lovely. The location was peaceful and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Only if the breakfast option had a wider variety of choices, it would be even better.

Just a short drive away, you'll find local amenities and plenty of things to see and do. the cottage itself is tastefully decorated and well-equipped, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. the owners are friendly and communicative, ensuring that you feel welcome and supported throughout your visit. From the beautiful grounds to the thoughtful welcome basket, this cottage truly offers a memorable experience.
Some of our taller friends found the beds to be slightly smaller than they would have preferred.

Lovely facilities, decor, and every item you could need in the kitchen and laundry. The outside area is great. The conversion of the old asylum complex is fantastic. The playpark for children at Camperdown is phenomenal. The owners were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The cottage was clean and everything worked as expected. It's a great base for exploring Dundee and other attractions within a 1-hour drive. Excellent communication with the host. The attention to detail in the cottage was exquisite. The owners were just a phone call away if we had any issues. The added bonus was being able to bring our dogs with us. We were welcomed with a generous welcome basket and Easter eggs. Everything we needed was provided upon arrival. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet spot not far from Dundee center and a big ASDA store. Excellent value for money. The space offered at the cottage was amazing, and it was conveniently located near local amenities and attractions.

The owners provided thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of fizz and mince pies. Excellent communication and friendly welcome from the owners. We loved that we could bring our dogs with us. The cottage offered a peaceful and relaxing space. Local amenities and plenty of things to see and do were only a short car ride away. great value for money and definitely deserving of 5 stars.

Our stay at Westwood Cottage was absolutely perfect. The hosts were incredibly helpful and the cottage itself was beautiful and luxurious. The small touches, like a welcome basket and Easter eggs, made us feel so welcome. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings was exquisite. The cottage was also very well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the tranquil garden areas and the proximity to lovely walks for our dogs. it was the loveliest place we've ever stayed and we will definitely be returning.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Lovely private estate with great base for exploring Dundee and nearby attractions like Edinburgh and St Andrews within 1hr drive. The owners were extremely helpful and made our stay memorable. The cottage was beautifully decorated, homely, and well-equipped with a cozy wood burner. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back.
Felt cozy, no complaints at all.
